Every few years, the platforms where trans people found each other get bought, enshittified, or quietly moderated out of existence. Our histories, our humor, and our survival guides live on servers owned by companies that would sell us out in a heartbeat.
We can't keep renting our community from people who see us as a content category. We need our own spaces — and our own tools, built by us, for us, with nothing to hide and nowhere to phone home.
Think about what a transition tracker knows: medication names, doses, dates, voice recordings. In states and countries where our care is under attack, that data is a liability — and data brokers would love to buy it from whatever app you trusted with it.
